The Grand Battle: EPT Monaco

  • EPT Grand Final Main Event resumes today with 123 players, some big names and €1,2 million to win. Can Johnny Lodden finally win?

  • EPT Season 10 is coming to an end. The last stop of the year kicked off with a €100,000 Super High Roller event that was taken down by Daniel Colman. Two Dans from America battled it out where Colman outlasted Cates to win €1.5 million that was by far the biggest live cash of his career.

Next it was the time for EPT Grand Final €10,600 Main Event. Overall 650 players bought it or qualified through two days with lots of notable names.

However, the end of Day 2 saw elimination of such players like Phil Ivey and Antonio Esfandiari while Liv Boeree was eliminated at the start of the day.

So, now it’s time for Day 3. It’s the day when the bubble will burst as 95 out of 123 players that will return will get paid at least €19,200. Currently the tournament average is 156,000 chips with Russian Vladimir Troyanovskiy leading 450,500 chips.

    Other notables:

    Johnny Lodden – 326,500
    Philipp Gruissem – 268,000
    Dani Stern – 256,100
    Sam Trickett – 237,000
    Ole Schemion – 233,600

The action resumes today at noon. You can follow all the live updates or watch the live stream.

More opposition arises against Sheldon Adelson’s campaign

Glad to see more organizations join the opposition and speak out publicly against Sheldon Adelson’s infamous campaign to ban all of the online gambling in U.S. Maybe not so rich as the owner of the Venetian, but still powerful in their voice 10 new organizations include Institute for Policy Innovation, Alliance for Freedom, Competitive Enterprise Institute, American Consumer Institute, Independent Women's Forum, Freedom Action, R Street Institute, FreedomWorks, Institute for Liberty, and the Taxpayer Protection Alliance.

How do you think this fight will continue? Will Adelson give it a rest eventually? Maybe he will win with all the influence he has over several U.S. Senators?
