Sam Trickett documentary and WSOP Final Table

  • Hello and welcome back, poker fans. We are back from a holiday break and ready to roll even better. A lot has happened since we were gone. WSOP Main Event Final table was formed and much more. Let’s take one thing at a time.

    Sam Trickett in a documentary

    A month ago, Matchbook.com announced a documentary about poker player Sam Trickett. On 26 June the first part of the documentary was released. Finally, last week the last part of the series was introduced to the general public.

    The main focus of the documentary is on Sam’s run in $1 million One Drop tournament in WSOP 2012 but it also touches some painful topics like Trickett’s gambling addiction.

    A plumber, a professional football player and now a poker player features in the four-part documentary High Stakes – The Sam Trickett Story.

    WSOP Main Final Table is set

    World Series of Poker in on break. Final table of the $10.000 Main Event aka November Nine is set. While last year’s table did not include recognizable names, this year the situation is different. A lot of poker players will be rooting for a known poker pro JC Tran.
