Bet Raise Fold premiers in WSOP 2013

This week, after three years of making, poker documentary called Bet Raise Fold premieres in WSOP 2013. Its full name - Bet Raise Fold: The Story of Online Poke. It is the creation of Jay Rosenkrantz, one of the four youngsters in poker documentary 2 Months $2 Million (2M2MM).

If you haven’t seen it, you can catch in on Youtube:

The premiere was a massive deal so all-star poker players and publicity set aside the Wednesday afternoon and rushed to Palms Hotel and Casino. One of the executive producers of the documentary is world-renown Tom Dwan.

The documentary will open worldwide on 30 June.

New poker movie - Runner Runner

And talking about poker movies, we have got another one. World known artists Ben Affleck and Justin Timberlake will feature newest poker movie Runner, Runner. The story is written by Brian Koppelman and David Levien, the masterminds behind the classic poker movie Rounders.

The story is more cheesy, Hollywood-like movie while Rounders was an intimate dark story. Having said that I have no doubt that the movie that will be released on 27 September will not only be a huge success but it will provide much needed publicity for online poker industry.

The official trailer was released this week:

Both stories are very different but just as important for poker. The documentary does its job to explain general public that it is not just gambling, it is a skill game. And how has Black Friday affected people's lives.

Hope you like it. Don't forget to leave a comment via Twitter or Facebook.
