    • A new documentary about online poker boom Bet Raise Fold: The Story of Online Poker has released the first trailer. The movie should be released in June, 2013. Previously this project was called BOOM.

    Pokerstars to sign a worldwide superstar to their team

    This has just been confirmed already online poker community is buzzing. Pokerstars is about to sign football superstar, Brazilian Ronaldo as Team PokerStars SportStars that already includes tennis Rafael Nadal.

    It does not strike as a surprise as the footballer is an avid poke player. Therefore, we look forward to seeing more of Ronaldo at the tables than we have Rafael Nadal who was a complete beginner once he was signed.

    Antonio Esfandiari signs for Ultimate Poker

    Possibly the first Nevada's and maybe even U.S.'s online poker site to re-enter the market is actually a new site called Ultimate Poker (it has nothing in common with infamous Ultimate Bet). As you already understand the one to represent the new poker site is poker players that needs no introduction Antonio Esfandiari.

    WSOP APAC Event 1

    The firs event of the series is underway. And what an amazing event that is! So far, french poker player Antoine Saout is leading but there are a lot of known names that are chasing him to the title.

    WSOP APAC $1.100 event registered 329 entries but this number is not yet finalized. Day1A and Day 1B have been concluded while tomorrow players will gather at Day 1C for the last chance to qualify to the Day 2.

    Even though very event is special, becoming the winner of the inaugural series would be extra special. So both: players that already qualified as well as players looking to re-enter on Day1C will be looking to take the very first WSOP APAC event.

    Among the ones that already have guaranteed seats on Day 2 are Johnathan Duhamel, Jackie Glazer, Jeremy Ausmus, Russel Thomas and many others. The ones that have already tried include Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, Antonio Esfandiari and many more.

    And do not forget, the last event this year will be the match up between Continental teams - Americas, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
