    Ceasar's Cup

Last week it was announced that ext month Phil Ivey ( not a surprise there) would be the captain of Team Americas in the WSOP Asia-Pacific Ceasars Cup. In the first WSOP of the series, there will be 5 Gold Bracelet events and a continental challenge between Team Europe, Team Asia-Pacific and Team Americas.

    The Captains:

    Team Americas – Phil Ivey
    Team Europe – Sam Trickett
    Team Asia-Pacific – Joe Hachem

Every Team Captain has to choose four more players to represent their region. As the discussion goes on Two Plus Two, most poker players expect players like Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, Mercier and a few others.

This is an invitation-only event designed as entertainment for the audience so no doubt we will see a lot of known faces but who will actually make it, we will not know until the Captains make up their minds.
