Yesterday Sam Trickett has officially signed with Poker Royalty, the most famous poker player agency representing all of the world's greatest including Antonio Esfandiari, Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, Doyle Brunsonson, Tom Dwan, Patrik Antonius, etc.

    PCA 2013 Update: Day 3

More action unfolds at the Caribbean as the PCA 2013 Day 3 has started. While previous chip leader Antony Griffin is knocked out, Nicolas Godoy takes the lead while Michael Mizrachi works his way from the bottom to the Top 3.

Michael Mizrachi talks about his comeback in the PCA 2013 Main event:

Out of 987 entries total only 166 players remain. But there is a long way to go as everyone is now even more focused to reach the payout. 144 Top poker players will be rewarded while the winner of the PCA 2013 Main Event will claim a massive $1.8 million prize!

    Viktor Blom upswing continues

Also, this week Viktor Blom exlceeds $4 million mark in profits this year. This week the Swede is not defending his Super High Roller title that he won last year at the PCA. Everybody knew that they should expect him at online poker tables and this is exactly what happened.

High stakes games at Full Tilt Poker made Blom famous and he was back playing as soon as the poker site returned online. Although, November and December in 2012 were not particularly successful for the poker player (he was down $2.6 million), in 2013 he has been running much better.

Before this week he was already up by $2.7 million but on Tuesday he had a few sessions against some of the best poker players in the world Phil Galfond and Ben Sulsky and took home over $1.3 million. Half of it he claimed in a few hours playing $2,000/4,000 Omaha Hi/Lo vs. Ben Sulsky. Spectacular results and we hope to see more from Blom's teammates at FTP Tom Dwan and Gus Hansen.

That's it for today. Come back soon for more news from the world of poker players!
