Now, it is time to move forward to Aussie Millions and NBC National HU Championship that both kick off in just a few days.

    Final PCA 2013 results

What a history-making event that was. Almost a 1000 players entered PCA Main Event where after 5 days of fierce competition, Bulgarian Dimitar Danchev claimed the victory and over $1.8 million. Yesterday, poker player at Pokerstars, Vanessa Selbst made history, too.

By winning $25.000 High Roller Selbst claimed a massive $1.4 massive prize. By completing such an achievements she's has now overtaken the throne from Kathy Liebert in the race for the Women's All Time Money finishes. It is also the first EPT title for this poker player so if Selbst would win an WPT event, 4 WSOP bracelet winner would also become the first woman to join Triple crown club that currently consists of only 4 players

New poker book by Annie Duke as co-author is soon to be released

Poker players must know how to play heads-up because you want to be prepared when the time at the final table comes which sooner or later will come. One of your options in HU Tournament play may be Heads-Up Tournament Poker: Hand-by-Hand that is about to be released (official date on Amazon is 5 February, 2013).

Some faces you might recognize as authors of the book include Vanessa Rousso, Josh Doody and Annie Duke. While Doody is a winning recreational player while there are no one doubts concerning the poker abilities off Duke and Rousso. Both of the women are regulars at NBC National Heads Up Championship and both have recorded deep runs in this tournament series(Rousso is 2009 Runner-up to Huck Seed while Annie Duke was the winner of 2010).

The publishing of the book may be connected with that fact that NBC National HU Championship is about to return after one year gap. The tournament will run 24-26 January and surely both female players will be seen there. If at least one of them would manage to win a few duels that would be a perfect campaign to promote the book, wouldn't it? If you decide to get the book, send us your thoughts on how it is.
