    Live Event craze

Two of the biggest poker events are here. Aussie Millions 2013 at Crown Casino is underway with $100.000 Super High Roller Event as well as $10.000 buy-in Main Event opening on 27th January. A lot of poker players will not be there though. Not because of poker economy. The main reason for that is the NBC National Heads-Up Championship. The poker event will see 64 first-class players including Vanessa Rousso and Eric Seidel gather tomorrow in Las Vegas.

The event that starts tomorrow, 23 January is an annual event that had skipped last year. Among the tens of poker players you will definitely see super pokerstars like:

    Doyle Brunson
    Erik Seidel
    Tom Dwan
    • Phil Galfond
    • Bertrand Grospellier
    • Brian Hastings
    Phil Ivey
    Daniel Negreanu
    • Greg Raymer
    Vanessa Rousso
    • Mike Sexton
    Jennifer Tilly

    Phil Ivey's team

Another news is that there is another addition to #TeamIvey at Phil Ivey's new poker training site. The poker players he recently signed are Kevin Vandersmissen, Mathew Frankland and Ronnie Barda. However, that does mean that IveyPoker.com is running late with its estimated opening date.

Here is how Ivey's site introduces its newest members:

Kevin Vandersmissen has live tournament cashes across multiple countries and continents including Germany, Spain, Holland, the Caribbean, Austria, Italy and the US. Kevin has also been crowned the 2012 Irish Paddy Poker Open Champion.

Mathew Frankland, hailing from Teesside, United Kingdom, has been a live poker tournament player since 2010. He was rewarded with the number two spot in the UK & Ireland rankings in 2012.

Ronnie “RoNasty” Bardah, started his career as a professional poker player in 2003. His most recent achievements include a 1st place in the 43rd World Series of Poker 2012, cashing $182,088 and a bracelet to boot.
