  • The year is inevitably coming to an end and the poker events are falling like flies. One more that was just recently over is the World Poker Jacksonville event with 477 entrants and, obviously, only one winner. Noah Schwartz came out as the winner claiming $402,970. Also, today we cover FTOPS XXI at Full Tilt Poker that starts 2nd December. We are sure to see poker stars of the poker room 'The Professionals' – Gus Hansen, Viktor Blom and Tom Dwan play .

    World Poker Tour Jacksonville

10 – 13 November yet another WPT Season XI event: WPT bestbet Jacksonville Fall Poker Scramble was held. Among those who entered we saw WSOP 2012 ME Final Table player Rob Salaburu, Pokerstars pros Jason Mercier and Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth. One way or another all of them had busted out relatively quickly (with the exception of Salaburu) and had re-entered on Day 1B. Unfortunately, none of them survived long.

Noah Schwartz, the eventual winner of the event, finished Day 1A with over 207.000 chips (7 overall) and had received ClubWPT Player of the Day award. He also got the award on Day 3 as Player of the Day:

Overall, 4-day event finished with a 6-handed Final Table:

    1. Noah Schwartz - $402,970
    2. Byron Kaverman - $236,592
    3. Ryan Hartmann - $153,403
    4. Hans Winzeler - $106,848
    5. Brian Senie - $77.083
    6. Lee Markholt - $61,819

We are glad to congratulate Schwartz with his very first title and we hope to see more of the same soon. This year you can still grab seats to some more of the WSOP Circuit events as well as WPT Montreal and EPT Prague. U.S. poker players may stick with the first two but we may see best European players such as Sam Trickett enter the EPT Prague. As far as we know, Daniel Negreanu is planning to play at WPT Montral.

    FTOPS XXI back this December

Another place where you can root for your favorite poker players as well as play yourself is the returning FTOPS including $1.5 million Main Event. Overall there are 35 events with massive prizepools with the lowest being $20.000. One thing's for sure, high stakes players at Full Tilt Poker will surely be there including Gus Hansen, Viktor Blom and Tom Dwan.

Latest news report that Tom Dwan is at the Macau playing high stakes cash games while Gus Hansen has had some problems with his computer:

While actually at the moment Viktor 'Isildur1' Blom can be found at Pot Limit Omaha tables. Since the relaunch of the site, Blom is among the biggest FTP winners while Gus Hansen had lost almost half a million. Not the start he expected but we are sure to see his luck change.

The FTOPS runs 2nd – 16th December wilt lots of high stakes tournaments. Full schedule is available at Pokernews.
