WPT Jacksonville and IveyPoker.com newest member

  • A little big of a slow start to the Phil Ivey's site that currently let's you subscribe for an early list to get some free bonus points. Other than that, the site has been crazy signing up new poker pros to represent the site and make coaching videos. The latest addition to the Phil Ivey's coaching site is South Cole who joins already a big family including 2012 WSOP Main Event champion Greg Merson and Patrik Antonius. Also, WPT Jacksonville is underway with many famous poker players trying to catch the title. Who advanced and who made one bad decision to much? Here is the update.

    WPT Jacksonville Final Table reached

    World Poker Tour Jacksonville aka WPT Jax on it's Final Table set for tomorrow. There is a crazy chip lead that Noah Schwarz has coming to the Final Table but nothing is over yety. Any of the six remaining players have the chance to take down WPT Jacksonville title. But 5 of them won't. Just like 471 more player that crumbbled along the way.

    Day 1A saw Pokerstars pros Daniel Negreanu as well as Jason Mercier sit down at the tables. We also saw 13 WSOP bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth and the Robert Salaburu, famous for his Main Event Final table achievement this year.

    Unfortunately, one by one all the Top poker pros fell (Negreanu, Mercier and Hellmuth did not survive Day 1A). On Day 1B we the pros re-entered and had varying success. While Jason Mercier survived only a couple of hours, Negreanu was running hot tweeting about his sick reads:

    However, the big WSOP champ Phil Hellmuth did not re-enter on Day 1B as he overslept:

    In the end though, no player out of the 3 poker stars did not finish in the money this time after Daniel Negeanu busted on Day 2. On Day 3 we got to know who are the skilled and lucky enough to be at the Final Table at the Bestbet Casino in Jacksonville.

    Ivey Poker coaching site signs one more poker player – Cole South

    Cole South that becomes 5th member of the coaching team. Even though the advertising of the site was begun a while ago and WSOP Main Event winner Greg Merson aka 'gregy20723' was signed even bofore the Final Table took place in the end of October, the coaching site is not yet running.

    The site claims:

    IveyPoker.com is in the final stages of developing an innovative social poker game that also provides poker training content from some of the world's top pros.

    Sounds intriguing, doesn't it? Especially, when you know that among the coaches there are Jennifer Harman, Patrik Antonius and Phil Ivey himself. Also, the new boy in the gang Cole South is guaranteed to be a big contribution to the site as 24-year-old poker pro was previously a CardRunners co-owner and a poker coach.
