Bronze pieces of poker players and PCA 2013 statistics

  • PCA 2013 is about to be held for 10th time already. Pokerstars has counted all numbers from the long run of the series. Also, you will be amazed by bronze version of Phil Hellmuth.

  • Recently once of the sculptors has finished making thee custom bronze sculptures of some of the most famous poker players including Doyle Brunson, Annie Duke and Phil Hellmuth. Also, the largest poker site Pokerstars has already started promoting upcoming EPT Caribbean Adventure 2013 event. Today they released a blog post remembering all the numbers from 10 years history.

    Poker Players in Bronze

A couple Phil Hellmuth has thanked U.S. sculptor Jon Hair of a piece that he has made for his Studio of Fine Arts. Hellmuth claimed that he does not think he even is worthy of a piece like this. As he said in his website:

I’m not sure I’m worthy of a piece of sculpture like this… but WOW!!   Many thanks to World Class artist Jon Hair for his gift: a PH Bronze Bust.

We do not know whether the sculptor is a poker player himself, but he must be at least a big fan of the game. You have to be fair, Jon Hair's sculpture of Hellmuth does look really good:

You can check out Jon Hair's studio and see more of his work. The first two poker-related pieces that the artist made were the busts of Doyle Brunson and Annie Duke. Which one do you like the most?

    Pokerstars Caribbean Adventure 2013

It is hard to believe that already this will be the 10th PCA event ever held. It must be the highlight of all the EPT Season. There is lots to see in the future but what a story PCA can tell from the first season held on a cruise. Gus Hansen wins the first Main Event and claims over $455.000, tens millions of dollars were won (over $124 million overall shared).

Overall, such great and exciting moments have we seen in these years. But something tells me, the 10th Anniversary PCA will be even bigger. We will be covering the PCA which will surely feature all the Pokerstars feaured pros Daniel Negreanu, PCA 2008 winner Bertrand Grospellier aka ElkY, Johnathan Duhamel, Vanessa Rouso and all the others that come here every year.

Check out Pokerstars blog for the post on the most significant statistics on 10 years of PCA.
