Full Tilt Poker to sign Gus Hansen

  • Inevitably the day when Full Tilt Poker will be relaunched is coming. And to represent the site once again Full Tilt Poker will sign Gus Hansen. We are left to wonder how many poker pros from the old days will be joining back the relaunched poker site. Will we see the biggest names in the business like Phil Ivey's, for example? Well, just over a month until the relaunch is left. We are sure it is going to be a very exciting month for poker.

After the long 16 months that have passed after the Black Friday, The largest online poker site Pokerstars have come to an agreement with U.S. Department of Justice and has acquired Full tilt Poker assets.     So, the preparations have already started, the players are getting their money back, while the site itself is announced to be relaunched on 6th November, 2012. There has been lots of speculation on who is eligible to represent the site after so much controversy but many agree now that bringing back Gus Hansen is a great move by the site.

    Gus 'The Great Dane' is not only among the best poker players online as well as life but he is also a fan favorite that managed to keep his reputation high. Hansen says:

    "I’m very excited to represent the industry’s most authentic poker brand," Hansen said in a press release. "Full Tilt Poker has the best games, most innovative software and the strongest poker community; to me this feels like coming home.”

    Well, surely Gus Hansen will be among the top names at the re-branded and re-launched Full Tilt Poker, but surely it will not be the only one. Some of the player favorites include Tom Dwan, Phil Ivey, Phil Galfond, Viktor 'Isildur1' Blom and Patrick Antonius. Who's your favorite?
